Frequently Asked Questions
Do Brick Steel Homes need high maintenance?
Not any more maintenance than double brick homes may require. The frame won’t shrink, warp or twist, so all nails, doors and windows will remain as pristine as the day they were installed. And everything is termite proof!
Will the steel frame rust? And what about lightning?
TrueCore steel has a protective zinc/aluminium coating that provides durability against the elements and any corrosion.
As for lightning, steel frames are earthed and homes are fitted with circuit breaking devices.
Can I still hang pictures on the walls?
Absolutely! You can use plasterboard anchors purchased from any hardware store or you can drill directly into the wall studs.
